ZGRAF 13
Zgraf 13, the international exhibition of graphic design and visual communications will take place from June 10 - 24, 2025 in the French pavilion SCZG, Serbian Cultural Center, AMZ Gallery, Algebra Bernays University and other locations in Zagreb.
ZGRAF has been held in Zagreb since 1975.
► Brings together designers, theorists and critics with the intention of examining the fundamental problems and position of design in contemporary society
► Continuously points to the importance of design as a profession
► Points to the importance of education in design
► Questions the role and social responsibility of design and designers in the field of advertising
► It is a meeting place for cultures and ways of working
► Presents global examples of graphic design in order to provide the widest and highest quality insight into the global design scene
► Contextualizes works of domestic production
► Seeks to create a space for polemical discourse on contemporary design practice
The theme of Zgraf 13, “Pleasure to All”, discusses the dimensions or prerequisites of the idea of pleasure and enjoyment. Bojan Dmitrović Krištofić postulates pleasure as the basis of happiness, and happiness for everyone, where design plays the role of raising awareness of “the time that, as just one of the planetary communities, we no longer have much of or none at all”, where “design can also participate in achieving happiness, but by no means only for those who make a living from or for design.” On the other hand, Boris Greiner discusses the aspects of achieving, but also the ethics of, professional satisfaction, as well as the different ways in which individuals achieve it in the context of creative activity: through complete surrender versus restraint and postponement of pleasure.

The main exhibition is international in nature and consists of two parts – Review and Theme.
► Zgraf 12 Grand Prix
A solo exhibition by Marija Juza and Nikola Đurek, who won the Grand Prix at Zgraf 12 with their work “Balkan Sans” typeface.
► Eduzgraf
A creative educational platform intended for students of design and visual communications.
► Zgraf words
Bringing a selection of the best theoretical and practical examples from the profession
